Submit Your Abstract

Thank you for your interest in presenting at the Rabies in the Americas (RITA) 2026 Conference, taking place October 18–23, 2026, in Tempe, Arizona. 

Researchers, public health professionals, laboratory scientists, wildlife biologists, veterinarians, students, and other rabies experts are invited to submit abstracts for consideration as either a Poster Presentation or an Oral Presentation. 

How to Submit Your Abstract 

Step 1: Create an Account 

To begin, create an account on this website by selecting Create Account. Your account will allow you to submit abstracts, upload supporting documents, and track the status of your submission.

Step 2: Log In

Once your account has been created, log in using your email address and password.

Login

Step 3: Complete the Abstract Submission Form

After logging in, select Submit an Abstract and complete all required fields, including:

  • Abstract Title
  • Abstract Summary
  • Topic Area
  • Submission Type
  • Author Information
  • Affiliation/Organization
  • Country
  • Supporting Document Upload (PDF or Word format)

Step 4: Select Your Presentation Preference

You may choose one of the following submission types:

  • Poster Presentation
  • Oral Presentation
  • Poster and Oral Presentation

Please note that Oral Presentation opportunities are limited and subject to review by the Scientific Program Committee. We anticipate Oral Presentations being 15-20 minutes in length. Selecting an Oral Presentation preference does not guarantee acceptance as an oral presenter. Abstracts not selected for oral presentation may still be considered for poster presentation. 

Step 5: Submit for Review

Review your information carefully and submit your abstract. You will receive confirmation that your submission has been received and is under review.
